"Atostogų parkas" - is the biggest recreation and health complex in Western Lithuania containing 16 swimming pools and 8 saunas for your recreation and health.

The complex is established on the outskirts of Palanga, in Žibininkai. It is a natural shelter situated in a strategically perfect location, only 6 km away from the Baltic Sea and 30 km away from the port city of Klaipeda.

The "Lithuanian Export Prize" went to the Kretinga district for the first time

In 2020, the World Tourism Day became special for the Kretinga region: On September 28, the "Lithuanian Export Prize 2019" was awarded to the recreation and wellness complex “Atostogų parkas” located in the district Kretinga . The Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis presented the award to Ričardas Jovaiša, the director representing the company "Atostogų parkas", at the annual award event of the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts. This is the first time when this prize has been awarded to the tourism service business located in the district Kretinga. "Atostogų parkas" was chosen due to the extremely large flows of foreign tourists attracted to the region of the Western Lithuania in 2019 and the innovations applied in its activity.

Implementation of Technological Eco-Innovations in UAB "Atostogų parkas"

The company is implementing the project “Implementation of Technological Eco-Innovations in UAB Atostogų parkas”, No.03.3.2-LVPA-K-837-03-0006.

The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, supported by the European Union Funds Investment Operational Program 2014-2020, Priority 3 "Promoting the Competitiveness of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises", Implementation Measure No. 03.3.2-LVPA-K-837 „ECO-innovations LT +“.

The aim of the project implementation is the implementation of technological eco-innovations related to the provision of Water and Sauna Area services.

"Parko virtuvėlė" was decorated with a "5 cups" rating

When you see the rating of the 5-cup restaurant, you can rest assured that it is an establishment that meets the highest standards of hygiene and technology. "Parko virtuvėlė", which is already popular with visitors, was decorated with such an assessment.

The cups are assessed by inspectors of the State Food and Veterinary Service (SFVS) after a thorough inspection. The number of cups provided shows the cleanliness of the establishment, the freshness of the products used and whether they are properly stored and whether the kitchen equipment meets all the necessary criteria. The rating can range from 1 to 5: the more cups, the better the institution complies with the highest SFVS requirements.

The world's first natural amber sauna was opened

The world's first natural amber sauna, which contains about three tons of natural Baltic amber, was introduced to the public on November 6. The sauna is reminiscent of a cozy and luxurious amber room. It is the first such amber sauna in the world available to the public. The walls, ceilings and even the sauna beds here are covered only with natural amber.

"Atostogų parkas" is among the fastest growing and strengthening companies

The beginning of October 2017 was marked by a solemn event, dedicated to the 98th anniversary of the Klaipėda Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (KPPAR), where the most deserving persons and companies of the region were honoured. The novelty of this year is the competition "Our Community-98", in which two nominations "Fast Start" and "For Business Development" were awarded.

As a result of the final voting, the complex "Atostogų parkas" lost only to the Klaipeda State Seaport Authority and took the honourable second place in the nomination "For Business Development".
